I want to thank my Heavenly Father for *blessing* me beyond measure, with His endless Grace and Love, supplied in so many ways: the gift of music; talented folks to help make this album a reality; a loving husband (Arend I love you because “you are always there for me”) who has supported me every step of the amazing “musical” journey.

I thank Him each day for the beauty He created for each of us to enjoy and treasure.

I thank Him for allowing me to be “Grandma” to Riley, Ashlynn, Eden and Andrew. I’m grateful that He never gave up on me! Still a work in progress, I pray these “Blessings” will help to grow the Kingdom!

Barb has enjoyed creative writing since she was a very young child. Her (secret) dream was always to be able to share her stories, inspired by her own life, through song as well as inspirational short stories. A loud clunk on the hardwood floor aroused Lil Campbell from her late afternoon catnap. The photo box she’d been holding on her lap had slipped from her curled fingers, to land unceremoniously at her feet, spilling the contents and startling Lil to attention.

“What on earth?” she said aloud, to the walls and furniture that surrounded her worn leather recliner. The dimming light disoriented her for a few seconds, while she got her bearings, gradually remembering what she’d been thinking on these past few hours...
